Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities
- Understand client needs and requirements to propose appropriate solutions.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to align strategies and tactics.
- Identify and research potential customers within the current industrial sectors we participate in such as agriculture, transportation, construction, and contract manufacturing sectors.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Outside Sales Reports directly to Sales Manager
Working Conditions
An Outside Sales Representative will often be going from customer to customer and will be working in an office environment using a computer.
This position is Full time which will require 8-9 hours Monday through Friday.
Outside Sales Representative Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of carbon and aluminum alloy along with production processes.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and a drive to achieve sales targets.
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
