Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quarry Manager to oversee operations at our quarry site in Grannis, Arkansas. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of quarry management, including safety regulations and operational efficiency. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of quarry operations, including extraction, processing, and transportation of materials.
- Ensure compliance with MSHA regulations and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of quarry equipment.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity in quarry activities.
- Train and supervise staff, fostering a culture of safety and teamwork on the construction site.
- Conduct regular inspections of the quarry site to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of production, equipment maintenance, and safety inspections.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quarry management or related field, with a strong understanding of construction site operations and ,material production.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity with water truck operations and maintenance is preferred.
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build effective teams.
- Ability to perform some physical tasks associated with digging and material handling in an outdoor environment.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
