What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Office Support position at SBNG, P.C.?

SBNG is seeking a responsible Administrative Office Support to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. You will have the opportunity to work and provide administrative support for a local CPA firm in El Paso, Texas that serves clients large and small in a variety of industries. You must be able to work in the office on a full-time basis.

Duties include providing support to our shareholders, managers and employees and assisting in daily office needs. Responsibilities include making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment.

Ultimately, a successful Admin Office Support should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of a department within the office.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers
  • Assist in running errands
  • Assist with answering and directing phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Book travel or meeting arrangements as necessary

Requirements and skills

  • 1-2 years previous experience in clerical, data entry, or other related fields
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School Diploma/Associate’s Degree - additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plus.

Compensation:

Based on candidate’s experience. Compensation is determined based on the local market, with the possibility of annual raises. Details will be provided to interested candidates during the interview process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33,280.00 - $37,440.00 per year
