What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Specialist position at SBR Inc?
Supportive Behavioral Resources, Inc, (SBR) is hiring for part-time (minimum 10 hours per week) Behavior Specialists to support the positive emotional and behavioral growth of adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and Autism. Daytime availability to work is preferred.
Responsibilities include the completion of a functional assessment; the development of a behavioral support plan which includes strategies to support the individual based upon assessment; the provision of training to individuals, staff, parents, and caregivers and ongoing face-to-face contact/meetings with the person and their team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Preferred in Human Services, or related field
- Minimum of two years working directly with individuals with ID/A; preferably adults
- Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
- Proficient and professional writing and communication skills
- Knowledge of web-based data systems
Salary : $30 - $45
