The Financial Planning Analyst at Roberts Resorts & Communities will play a critical role in supporting financial decision-making across our portfolio of manufactured home communities, RV resorts, and sales of cabins and homes. The individual will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analyzing sales and operational data. By providing insights and financial models, the Financial Planning Analyst will help guide business strategy, improve profitability, and support the company's growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in the industry and a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with overall business objectives.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES :
- Develop Accurate Financial Forecasts and Budgets :
Within the first 90 days, build and implement financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and sales for manufactured home communities, RV resorts, and cabin / home sales. Ensure forecasts and budgets align with business objectives and are presented in a clear and actionable format for management.
By the end of the first 6 months, provide in-depth analysis of sales data, occupancy rates, and operational costs to identify trends and recommend strategies that drive revenue growth and cost efficiencies. Specifically, contribute to improving the profitability of cabin and home sales by optimizing pricing strategies and financing options.
Deliver accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial reports that compare actual performance to budgets and forecasts. Identify key variances, explain the causes, and suggest corrective actions where needed. Ensure leadership has a clear understanding of financial performance across all properties.
Work closely with sales and marketing teams to analyze financial performance related to property sales. Provide insights that aid in developing effective sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and customer financing plans, with the goal of increasing home and cabin sales by at least 10% over the first year.
Develop scenario-based financial models to support decision-making on potential acquisitions, expansions, or pricing adjustments for the communities and sales division. Provide data-driven recommendations that contribute to long-term growth and operational success.
Within the first year, collaborate with community managers and operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities that improve operational efficiency across properties, aiming for a 5-10% reduction in operating costs while maintaining or improving service quality.
