Job Title: Tech Sales
Location: East coast, NY/NJ area
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development: Identify and prospect new clients within the tech industry or related fields through cold calls, emails, and networking.
Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's technology products and services, ensuring that clients understand how they can meet their needs.
Sales Presentations: Conduct presentations and demonstrations for potential clients, clearly articulating the value and benefits of the company's offerings.
Customer Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.
Lead Qualification: Manage and qualify inbound leads to ensure they are good candidates for the company's products/services.
Sales Negotiation: Work closely with customers to understand their specific needs, negotiate pricing, and close deals.
Sales Forecasting: Provide regular updates on sales activities and forecasts to senior management.
Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in technology sales, B2B sales, or a related field (preferably 2 years).
Strong understanding of technology products, services, and solutions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them to non-technical clients.
Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first attitude.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Experience with AWS is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SCRUM framework.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
