Job Description
- Obtain and maintain product certifications through various nationally recognized testing agencies
- Submit required information / reports to regulatory agencies or local jurisdictions as needed
- Develop and manage test plans for certification, development, and quality assurance testing for new and existing products and accessories
- Conduct requested product testing and assist with tests with nationally recognized testing agencies
- Complete submittals for new product efficiency and safety testing in compliance with federal and certification agency requirements
- Create and update technical documents such as manuals, specification sheets, etc
- Work with Product Managers in updating and distributing new technical information to internal / external team members
- Keep up to date with local, federal, and certification agency regulatory and standard changes
- Create and manage certification and regulatory change status reports
- Provide engineering support to sales representatives, installers, contractors, distributors, engineers and architects to ensure product installation compliance to company / code standards
