Pricing Analyst

Location : Miami FL 33182

Hours : 8 : 30am to 5 : 30pm

Hourly Rate : $20 / hr - $25 / hr

Responsibilities :

  • Market Analysis : Conduct thorough analyses of market trends and competitive pricing to inform strategic decisions.
  • Rate Negotiation : Negotiate rates with carriers to secure the best possible terms for our services.
  • Pricing Strategy Development : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and refine pricing structures that are both competitive and profitable.
  • Compliance Management : Ensure all pricing strategies and activities comply with FMC regulations.
  • Operational Collaboration : Work alongside the operations team to identify needs for network improvements or system designs that enhance profitability.
  • Sales Support : Provide the sales team with business intelligence reports, focusing on niche markets and emerging trends.
  • Performance Monitoring : Track turnover and respond swiftly to market changes, ensuring deadlines are met and previous strategies are adjusted as necessary.

Requirements / Qualifications :

  • HS diploma with desired experience or bachelor’s degree in a related major.
  • 2 years of experience in international sea freight (FCL and LCL) pricing
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex market data.
  • Proven experience in rate negotiation and pricing strategy development.
  • Familiarity with FMC regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across various teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
