IT Server Admin. (Bilingual - Korean)

Job Description

Server Administration & Maintenance :

  • Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows, Linux, etc.).
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patches, updates, and upgrades.
  • Manage server roles and features, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
  • Maintain server backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Ensure servers are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.

Security & Compliance :

  • Implement server security policies and best practices to safeguard against unauthorized access.
  • Manage antivirus, firewalls, and intrusion detection / prevention systems on servers.
  • Ensure servers meet company security standards and industry compliance requirements.
  • Monitor servers for potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

    • Virtualization & Cloud Services :

  • Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar.
  • Support cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.) as required.
  • Maintain and optimize hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud).

    • Troubleshooting & Support :

  • Diagnose and resolve server-related hardware and software issues.
  • Provide level 2 and 3 technical support to the IT team and end-users.
  • Work closely with vendors and service providers for server hardware and software support.

    • Performance Monitoring & Reporting :

  • Monitor server performance and availability using tools and best practices.
  • Maintain server health and usage reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement proactive measures to prevent downtime and improve server reliability.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Server Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of server hardware and operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Proficient in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Strong understanding of backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and server security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
