Associate Therapist (AMFT, APCC, ACSW) - Group Facilitation Opportunity
Required Credential: AMFT/APCC/ACSW
Potential Alternative Credentials: LMFT/LPCC/LCSW
Pay Range: $35-$38 p/h
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
Schedule: Varies Weekly, Facility schedules can run Monday-Friday within the hours of 9am-6pm.
Requirements: Must be licensed as an associate level therapist (AMFT, APCC, ACSW) with a valid searchable credential on the DCA website

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced facilitator to join our team.
Job Description: As a Substance Use Disorder/Mental Health Group Facilitator, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to our clients at various behavioral health facilites. Responsibilities include conducting individual and/or group counseling sessions, providing medication management support, and ensuring the well-being and progress of each client.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate group counseling sessions for individuals with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health (MH) challenges.
- Document services in EMR within a timely manner
- Collaborate with the treatment team for coordinated care.
- Monitor clients' progress and report concerns to the clinical supervisor.
- Create a safe and supportive environment for clients.
Requirements:
- At Minimum, candidate must be registered with the BBS as an associate level therapist (AMFT, APCC, ACSW)
- Licensed therapists, such as LMFT or similar (LPCC or LCSW) are also encouraged to apply
- Strong empathy, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in addiction treatment and mental health services.
- Familiarity with the KIPU EMR system is an advantage. (Kipu training available!)
- Empathy and understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals.
Demographic of Clients: The facilitator will primarily work with individuals dealing with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health (MH) issues.
