Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $95,000 annually, based on skills and experience.
We also offer an onboarding bonus of $10,000, paid in two installments of $5,000 each (at 30 days and 18 months). Quarterly and annual bonuses are also part of our compensation package.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and preparing business and personal tax returns for small business clients from initial meeting through delivery and filing of returns
- Preparing tax projections on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Proactively communicating with clients
- Organizing and updating the tax database
- Recording tax entries into accounting software
- Understanding and applying tax reduction strategies
- Preparing and/or reviewing financial statements
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
- At least 2 years of proven work experience in Public Accounting in a tax role
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
- Developing knowledge of personal and business tax code, tax concepts, rules, regulations, forms, and savings strategies
- Experience effectively responding to notices from federal, state, and local governments regarding income and payroll tax matters
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Desktop
- Computer literacy, numerical skills, and strong attention to detail
- Experience with Ultra Tax, Accounting CS software (a plus)
- Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and MS Excel
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to learn new processes and procedures quickly and execute them reliably
