Position Overview:
The Lead Packaging Operator will, under direction from the Production Supervisor establish good manufacturing practices and safety procedures. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Responsibilities: include, but are not limited to the following:
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical filling and packaging procedures a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach and coach individuals from diverse backgrounds with varying communication and technical skills.
- Basic understanding of cGMP's and regulatory (FDA, OSHA, EPA) requirements.
- Proven ability to drive team productivity, while maintaining high levels of quality, employee engagement, and morale.
- Demonstrated analytical skills with problem-solving and process improvement orientation.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and influence skills.
- Proficient in detailed paperwork.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends, on short notice as required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Must be able to safely be able to climb (ladder/step stool), pull, and push
Requirements
- 3 years of manufacturing experience
- High School Diploma
- Qualified applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- This position is not eligible for remote work
- This position is not eligible for relocation
