The Associate Sales Manager - Walmart, will lead relationship management and communication with Walmart and/or Sam's Club for a portion of the Babyganics, Method and/or Mrs. Meyers brands across several departments/categories. Be responsible for a portion of Sales externally with the customer and own communication with internal customer development and execution teams for these areas of ownership. This role will report to the Lifestyle Brands (LSB) Sr. Director of Walmart/Sams Club and support the work of the full WM/Sam's sales team.AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
The Associate Sales Manager - WM/Sams will:
Have a significant influence and require a high level of execution, to support high-impact decision making, strategic planning and customer relationship management.
End to End Execution Planning: Translate objectives for a portfolio of brands into key priorities for strategic selling and execution at the customer while holding self and others accountable for results
Retail Partner Management - Annual Planning, JBP, Trade Management, buyer meetings, relationship management
Data Analysis Sales Presentations - Pull and analyze customer POS data, shopper data and syndicated data integrating insights to influence customer and organization objectives. Build strategic selling materials appropriate for the customer and LSB's value proposition.
Forecasting Planning - Lead demand planning and forecasting for a portion of the business. Develop, analyze and adapt Promotional and merchandising plans to achieve objectives.
Omni Channel Strategy - Develop, apply and monitor omni-channel strategies and tools to meet set objectives to win in the omni channel
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years' sales experience calling on a large national retailer (preferably Walmart/Sam's) - OR - Advanced Degree, and 3 years relevant experience
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Skills:
General Management mindset; proven ownership approach to business
Strong analytical skills. Solid experience in analyzing syndicated reports or using trade management tools (IRI, Nielsen, Retail Link, exceedra)
Stamina, character, sense of humor, detail-oriented tactician with proactive approach and work ethic appropriate for a fast-paced, team-oriented, growth company
Ability to manage budgets and overall trade management
Ability to independently assess data, integrate into selling stories and leverage it to grow our business
High degree of curiosity on consumer/retail behaviors insights
Excellent presentation skills and a colorful storyteller
Experience in partnering with and presenting to customers

Home office-based role, located in Bentonville, AR or nearby preferred
Travel up to 10%
