We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various floor surfaces in commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of environmental services and custodial practices, as well as experience in commercial cleaning techniques. The Floor Technician will play a vital role in ensuring that our facilities are safe, clean, and welcoming for all occupants. Must have a scrubber/ Buffer
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing.
- Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Inspect floors regularly to identify areas needing repair or special attention.
- Utilize proper cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain floor care standards.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in environmental services, custodial work, or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and carpet cleaning methods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
