Interior Demolition Superintendent Role Summary :

SC Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Interior Demolition Superintendent to assist in building, growing, leading and managing an interior demolition team. This individual will oversee all aspects of interior demolition projects, ensuring that they are executed safely, efficiently, and within the established timeline and budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior demolition, team management, and project execution.

Interior Demolition Superintendent Role Responsibilities :

Project Oversight : Lead and manage interior demolition projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Safety Compliance : Enforce safety protocols and procedures on-site, conducting regular safety audits and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Site Coordination : Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory bodies. Facilitate communication and collaboration between all parties involved.

Problem Solving : Identify potential challenges and develop effective solutions to minimize disruptions and maintain project momentum.

Documentation : Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, incident reports, and project schedules.

Quality Control : Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations.

Interior Demolition Superintendent Role Requirements :

Minimum of 5 years of experience in demolition or construction management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong understanding of interior demolition processes, asbestos and hazardous materials removal processes, safety regulations, and environmental considerations.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Familiarity with project management software and tools.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project).

OSHA 10-Hour Certification, Asbestos License, Driver’s License, Asbestos training / physical up to date, Lead training and HAZWOPPER are all required.

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including exposure to outdoor conditions, noise, and dust. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor as needed.

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Willingness to work after-hours when required.
