JOB TITLE: Construction Support Assistant
OBJECTIVE: Join the Construction Division of S.C. Swiderski, LLC as a key administrative professional, driving efficiency and organization through proactive coordination, document management, and interdepartmental communication. Administrative & Organizational Support – 40%
- Managing correspondence, emails, and calls
- Scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel
- Maintaining and organizing digital/physical files
- Preparing and assembling project-related materials
- Tracking departmental data and generating reports
- Acting as a liaison between leadership and stakeholders
- Assisting with department communication channels
- Assisting with event planning and process improvements
- Coordinating construction trainings, team events, and activities
- Overseeing fleet and equipment maintenance
- Managing inventory of tools, office supplies, and safety equipment
- Coordinating jobsite camera setup, audits, and progress images
- Supporting project bid list research and vendor outreach
- Supporting corporate office camera systems and visitor access
- Aiding in workstation setups for new hires/departures
- Handling additional responsibilities as needed
- Supporting new hire orientation and onboarding
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to and from work

Proven administrative experience with a strong understanding of office operations and standard office equipment
- Proficiency in Windows 10 Pro OS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred:

General knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and procedures

Associate’s degree or higher in construction management, business administration, or a related field

Prior experience working in the construction industry, particularly in an administrative or support role
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Ability to remain in a stationary position for at least 50% of the workday while performing administrative tasks
- Clear verbal communication and adequate hearing to effectively engage in conversations and respond promptly in person or over the phone
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The majority of this position is in a professional office setting, working closely with all levels of Corporate Office staff members.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires the ability to work 40-45 hours per week during normal business hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Site visits and occasional in-state travel required with this position.
