Primary Job Objective/Job Summary
The Training Intern will work closely with the Chief Learning & Development Officer and Training Manager to support the Training Department by utilizing several systems including, but not limited to: Learning Management Systems, Thrive Hub, Zoom, Canva, PowToons, Monday.com and Office 365. Note: This is an unpaid internship eligible for course credit.
Essential Functions
Must be able to remain stationary 70% of the time. The individual in this job must occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office equipment, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as calculators, printers, etc. Frequently positions themselves to maintain files in file cabinets. Consistently communicates information and ideas to others. Must be able to exchange accurate information in a manner others understand in these situations. Frequently observes details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Occasionally moves boxes up to 20 pounds across the office for various purposes. Occasionally travels and works in outdoor weather conditions.

Essential Functions
- Assist with sending, tracking and updating pre and post work for all training classes
- Assist with tracking of all training inventory
- Assisting with maintenance of the training calendar and email account
- Assist with administrative tasks pertaining to training grants
- Assist with set up and tear down of in-person classes
- Assist with creation of training flyers and marketing materials
- Assist with use of learning management systems, instructional design plans, and e-learning platforms.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled as a college student
- Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and we delivery tools
- Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to manage time effectively; skills in organizing and prioritizing tsks; ability to meet/exceed expectations and deadlines
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Consistently displays a proficient technological aptitude
- Associate's degree or equivalent college experience preferred
- Exhibits attention to detail
- Interpersonal and facilitator skills with positive response
- Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
- Strong communications skills and a "team first" mentality
- Ability to work with a cross-functional team to drive improved performance
