What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Assistant position at SC2 Supply Chain Services?
DUTIES: Compiles and maintains various employee records. Performs daily data entry in employee database including timesheets, conversions, change reports, corrective actions, terminations and employee information. Assists in answering phones. Performs human resources-related duties including but not limited to post incident investigation and form completion, contacting appropriate medical facilities to facilitate employee medical care and alcohol/drug testing, Assists Operations Management regarding employee issues. Documents actions taken by HR during shift. Communicates daily with facility HR Manager. Assists in organization of employee activities, distributes employee handouts as needed. Performs various clerical tasks such as copying, faxing, e-mailing. Responsible for maintaining strict confidentiality of information.
Shift Requirements:
Monday - Friday 12:00pm - 8:30 pm
Saturdays may be required
Will train on first from 6:00am to 2:30 pm for the first 4 weeks (After training is completed)
Candidates should have satisfactory or better attendance.
Qualifications:
Candidates should show an attention to detail, have good communication skills, have good keyboarding skills, and work effectively on a team. Confidentiality is a must. Good attendance and must have transportation to/from work. Prior HR experience is a plus
