Non-CDL $18/hr
Valid CDL $21.50/hr
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Non-CDL Jockey Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving trailers within our yard, ensuring timely and efficient operations. This role is crucial to maintaining the flow of our logistics operations and requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Safely operate jockey trucks to move trailers within the yard.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of jockey trucks.
- Ensure trailers are properly positioned for loading and unloading.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse and logistics teams.
- Maintain a clean and organized yard.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Attendance is essential
- Prior experience as a spotter truck driver or over-the-road truck driving experience is required
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
- Ability to sit, bend, climb and lift for 8/10 hours per day
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Mandatory Overtime
- Great written and oral communications skills
