Continuous Improvement and Project Coordinator
Job Summary and Scope
The Continuous Improvement Management Team is responsible for working alongside facility managers and our customers to seek solutions for process improvement and to optimize the performance of our employees and operations.
As a Continuous Improvement & Project Coordinator, you will plan and participate in strategic continuous process improvement projects. This role supports the Continuous Improvement Management Team and is critical in enhancing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing processes across all operations. Effective CIP Coordinators will analyze current processes and assist in developing new procedures to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
Job Responsibilities
Directly reports to the Continuous Improvement Manager to support current projects, spearhead process improvement initiatives, and assist in the sustainment of past and current process improvements
Plan, coordinate, participate in, and support Kaizen/Continuous Improvement events
Communicate with departments in Operations and all levels of the organization to streamline the progress of current/future CI projects
Identify and analyze current state operational conditions and processes to better pinpoint deficiencies within our facilities
Collect and analyze data to measure the impact of improvement initiatives and identify further areas for enhancement
Use tools to validate information (charts, graphs, tables, diagrams, etc.)
Participate in meetings and discussions and report findings to management, process owners, users, and key stakeholders
Support all aspects of planning, execution, and sustainment of CI projects
Assisting in Standard Work Development
Support and evaluate processes related to time, cost reduction, and inventory control
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Ability to prioritize work and meet project deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Detail-oriented with a strong desire to learn and contribute to the team.
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen is a plus, but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel and PowerPoint
As a plus, but not required: Planner/Project, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, and Visio
Provides own transportation to and from work

Full-Time
1st Shift
7:00-3:00
Pay: $19.50-21.50/hour
Salary : $20 - $22
