What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics System Coordinator position at SC2?
The AKS Management Team is responsible for working alongside facility managers and our customers to seek solutions for process improvement and to optimize the performance of our employees and operations.
As an AKS Coordinator, you will plan and participate in creating and implementing AKS guidebook projects. This role supports the AKS Team and is critical in enhancing inspection, safety, training, work instruction, operation instructions and general rules optimizing processes across all operations. Effective AKS Coordinators will analyze current processes and develop AKS guidebooks to increase awareness of training, production reporting and nonconforming products.
Job Responsibilities
- Directly reports to the Project Manager to support current projects, spearhead process improvement initiatives, and assist in the sustainment of past and current process improvements
- Plan, coordinate, participate in, and support AKS guidebook projects
- Communicate with departments in Operations and all levels of the organization to streamline the progress of current/future AKS guidebook projects
- Identify and analyze current state operational conditions and processes to better pinpoint deficiencies within our facilities
- Collect and analyze data to measure the impact of improvement initiatives and identify further areas for enhancement
- Use of the AKS software to create guidebook tools to validate information (safety, inspection, preparation, work instruction/SOP and training, etc.)
- Participate in meetings and discussions and report findings to management, process owners, users, and key stakeholders
- Support all aspects of planning, execution, and implementation of AKS projects
- Assisting in Standard Work Development
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements

- Familiarity with creating work instruction/SOP, Inspection type instructions, safety training and VKS Software, but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- As a plus, but not required: VKS Software, SharePoint, Teams, and Visio
- Provides own transportation to and from work
