Role Overview
The Associate Billing Representative Clerk is a key member of the revenue cycle team at SCA Health, responsible for managing the entire claims process from start to finish. This role requires a strong understanding of medical billing procedures, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year of medical billing experience and a thorough understanding of medical terminology and coding. Experience with MS Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, is also required.
In this role, you will work closely with the A/R collections team to resolve rejections and ensure timely payment from insurance companies. You will also be responsible for reviewing claims and identifying areas for improvement to enhance overall efficiency.
