Responsibilities
Primary position responsibilities:
- Check temperatures and pressures on machinery for proper function.
- Completes the daily check off list to include readings on equipment.
- Keeps fire equipment, extinguisher and sprinkler systems ready for use.
- Is familiar with city, state and Federal regulations, pertaining to hospital standards.
- Performs daily, weekly, monthly, bi-monthly and annual preventive maintenance activities.
- Performs work order repairs as assigned.
- Maintains all entrances, driveways, parking areas and exits clear of debris.
Secondary position responsibilities:
- Checks fire alarm boxes, replaces burned out exit lights.
- Cleans vents, exit lights and air ducts.
- Performs other duties as assigned/appropriate
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years experience in working in building or mechanical field.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand blue prints, mechanical drawings and factory specification sheets.
Salary : $60,000 - $103,000
