What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Engagement Liaison position at SCA Health?
SMS helps connect members to specialty and outpatient surgical care and supports them throughout their care journey. As a Senior Care Advocate, you will engage with customers telephonically, conduct outbound cold calls, and receive inbound calls from members. Your primary focus will be on educating members on their benefits, providing guidance on appointment scheduling, and coordinating care across various settings.
You will update systems to document member engagement, analyze problems, and provide information/solutions. Additionally, you will work with health insurance counterparts to answer customer questions related to benefits, claims, and billing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a passion for healthcare improvement.
