About the Role
You will work closely with HR Business Partners and other HR Centers of Service leaders to provide an exceptional, equitable and compliant teammate relations experience to teammates, leaders and other stakeholders. This role will primarily consist of conducting all levels of investigations and ensuring up-to-date and compliant company policies and practices.
Reporting to the Director of Teammate Relations, the TM Relations Consultant is responsible for conducting end-to-end teammate investigations in accordance with SCAH policies and procedures. They will be responsible for all policy and compliance-related initiatives and tasks for SCAH HR.
The ideal candidate will be able to handle sensitive and confidential information while conducting high-quality professional and impartial situational investigations. Serve as a subject matter expert on policy interpretation and maintain consistent approaches in recommendations.
Use data to spot trends or hotspots for teammate relations issues in order to make proactive recommendations on training, education and other relevant programs. Consistently create, review, maintain and interpret policy and compliance activities, including audit response and teammate handbook.
Participate in training and education of Human Resources team on policy interpretation and compliance activities. Interface with relevant stakeholders in Legal and Compliance in order to achieve shared goals and strategies. Remain current on Federal, State and local laws.
Requirements
- 5 years of Human Resources or a related teammate support experience
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience with any or all of the following platforms preferred: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, ServiceNow, iCIMS and UltiPro
