Job Description:
The IV Compounding Apprentice Level I plays a crucial role in assisting with the preparation of sterile pharmaceutical products and associated documentation within a highly controlled, regulated environment.
Through a comprehensive training program, this individual will develop the necessary skills to work safely and effectively in ISO 7 and ISO 8 work environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Document work performed at multiple stages of the process
Identify, communicate, and resolve problems to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety objectives are met
Label, package, and document according to written instructions
Count materials/products to ensure accurate counts and accountability
Replenish materials to designated areas/work cells as directed by Group Leader
Assist with inventory management in classified spaces
Undergo thorough training on gowning procedures, FDA cGMP-503B regulations, and internal SOPs
Clean and maintain cleanroom areas and related equipment per organization's procedures (80% - 100% of daily activities occur in cleanrooms)
Use hands and fingers to manipulate equipment as required
Duties may require overtime work, including nights and weekends
