What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3K Teacher position at SCA?
Greenville Christian Preschool is seeking an experienced preschool teacher to work with our 3K class. This person must be fun-loving, creative, outgoing, nurturing, professional with good communication skills. Must have great classroom management skills and experience with creating and implementing preschool lesson plans. Candidate must also have at least 2/3 years experience with preschool children. Must possess a positive attitude, a love for the Lord and a passion for children. We are seeking to employ teachers who are interested in nurturing our children and realize the impact they can have in this role. Responsibilities: Support and implement our curriculum/ programs in both classroom activities and routine conversation. Interact with children both physically and verbally throughout the day. Observe, see, hear, and respond to children’s needs, emergencies, and conflicts that might occur in a classroom, playground, bathroom, or common areas. Meet and build relationships with parents, staff, and administration. Maintain a friendly demeanor and a smile at all times. Ability to move to different classrooms to maintain student to teacher ratios. Able to communicate (stoop and bend) with the child on their level. Assist children with their personal hygiene and clean-up of classroom when necessary. Attend staff meetings, in-house training, and other center functions, etc., as requested by the Director. Adhere to health and safety procedures. Perform other duties, as required.
