Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Infant and Toddler Floater to join our early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with infants and toddlers in various classroom settings.
- Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities and educational programs.
- Provide individualized attention to children, ensuring their emotional and physical needs are met.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment conducive to learning.
- Support children during transitions between activities, ensuring smooth operations throughout the day.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities.
- Observe children's behavior and development, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures.
Skills
- Experience working with preschool-aged children or in childcare settings.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Ability to provide infant care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
- First aid certification is preferred.
