Role Description
This is an on-site, paid internship role for an Environmental Intern located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Environmental Intern will assist in various tasks related to environmental health and safety compliance, environmental policy implementation, and environmental science research. Day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting environmental assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting environmental policy initiatives, and communicating findings to team members.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Florida’s ecological communities and classifications, floral and faunal species.
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to interface with clients in meeting and presentation formats.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, as well as ArcMap GIS.
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to transition between multiple work assignments on a regular basis, and sense of urgency to meet client deadlines.
- A strong work ethic with the desire to learn and achieve.
- Ability to work in Florida’s challenging outdoor environment.

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
