What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Associate, Red Team position at Scale AI?
Scale AI's Generative AI organization is experiencing unprecedented growth, and our Safety and Adversarial team is at the heart of this expansion. As an Operations Associate (OA), you will be a key member of our AI Red Team, dedicated to identifying and mitigating the risks associated with advanced language models and generative AI products. This may require you to wear many operational hats - from training our front line to analyzing and reviewing data to jailbreaking pre-release products.

You will:
- Build and drive some of our most critical operational processes to drive progress on our most visible and high impact customer accounts
- Utilize your real-world experience interacting with AI / ML products to create an effective feedback loop across stakeholders
- Understand customer requirements to design thoughtful approaches (e.g., taxonomy) and processes (e.g., pipeline infrastructure) to meet customer commitments with quality and efficiency
- Identify areas for improvement and build analytics to make data-driven decisions
- Be working with sensitive content matters in building towards a stronger, safer AI future
- Strong applied relevant working experience (e.g., 1 year as a professional red teamer)
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail\
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing external and internal priorities
- Ability to come up with creative solutions to complex, ambiguous operational problems
- Strong interest in frontier AI / ML technology and products e.g., staying up-to-date on the latest research in AI safety and adversarial machine learning, hands-on experience / experiments with AI products
