THE ROLE: FOUNDING FRONTEND/FULLSTACK ENGINEER

You will own the core application features of our flagship product. We will invent the interfaces that make AI useful for scientific and financial decision-making.

Core Responsibilities

• Product Iteration: Conceive and develop new product features that showcase streaming AI capabilities. Ship quickly, partnering closely with research, product, and design teams.
• Build and Rebuild: Design reusable front-end systems for complex use-cases in web apps.

• Strong software engineering skills with experience building data-rich interfaces.
• Demonstrated ability to iterate and ship features in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of coming up with product ideas and seeing them through to implementation.
• Outstanding communication skills. Can convey complex technical concepts to non-technical customers.

Technical Skills

• Strongly opinionated in product design.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with modern web development frameworks (e.g., Next.js, FastAPI).
• Familiarity with database technologies, including relational and vector databases.
• Experience working with large language models and other AI/ML technologies.

Bonus

• Prior startup experience, especially in early-stage environments.
• Background or strong interest in biotechnology or biology (not required).
• Experience with product design and user experience (UX) principles.
