Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Business development to lead our Flavors Ingredients division. This individual will be responsible for crafting and executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with key accounts, and driving revenue growth. As the Director, you will play a critical role in expanding the footprint in the beverage industry, fostering innovation, and achieving ambitious growth targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth in the beverage ingredients sector, focusing on key accounts, emerging trends, and market opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing sales professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing customized solutions that deliver value.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of trends, anticipate customer needs, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive and achieve revenue targets through strategic account management, new business development, and portfolio expansion.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, marketing, and supply chain teams to align product offerings and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, regular reports, and insights to executive leadership to guide decision-making and support business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8 years of progressive experience in sales, preferably within the beverage, ingredients, or food & beverage sectors, with a proven track record of achieving growth targets.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading and growing a sales team in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the beverage ingredients industry, including trends, competitor landscape, and regulatory considerations.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to develop long-term strategies while being agile enough to adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Salary : $180,000 - $220,000
