The Job
The Digital Product Management Lead is responsible for leading the Digital Product team and maintaining a customer-driven, outcome-based focus for all product development initiatives. This role requires the ability to think strategically and perform tactically while navigating a highly matrixed organization. Additional responsibilities include coordinating across multiple functions and managing a small team with a highly collaborative attitude.
You Will
- Ensure customer and stakeholder value is delivered by the product team
- Proactively plan and manage cross-functional team communications and keeps product team apprised of key decisions
- Navigate a highly matrixed organization to ensure positive outcomes
- Collaborate with design and engineering to develop new features and products
- Identify customer problems, develop hypotheses, and run experiments to evaluate hypotheses
- Balance business needs, customer experience, and technical feasibility to ensure optimal product outcomes
- Manage and prioritize product backlog by working with stakeholders for maximum efficiency
- Help develop a customer-driven, outcome-based product road map that incorporates business and stakeholder needs
- Evangelize and uphold lean agile practices and methodologies
- Be responsible for ensuring correct user story definition, acceptance criteria, and prioritization for the product backlog
- Proven ability to build, manage and foster teams of 4 – 20 people throughout the entire delivery lifecycle
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Ability to communicate and articulate status with senior executive leadership
- Helps establish product vision and ensure continuous adherence from cross-functional teams
- Actively support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 6-8 years’ experience in product management
- 4 years of management experience and leading team members.
- Experience in Medicare industry preferred
- Proven ability to build, manage and foster teams of 4 – 20 people throughout the entire delivery lifecycle.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Ability to communicate and articulate status with senior executive leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work and deliver multiple projects simultaneously on tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
