What are the responsibilities and job description for the HCI Projects Representative position at SCAN Health Plan?
The Job
Support the Encounter Data team, Risk Adjustment team, and the Health Care Informatics department by (1) being a liaison to internal and external customers (2) monitoring, tracking, documenting encounter data and risk adjustment trends, (3) researching issues from a data content perspective, and (4) ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction and issue closure. Perform all functions within department policies and procedures, regulatory timeframes and guidelines, and under the guidance of the Healthcare Informatics management team.
You Will
- Contact provider offices and medical groups regarding encounter data submissions and risk adjustment rends, serving as a resource and liaison.
- Analyze, interpret, document encounter data and risk adjustment data to identify potential issues and trends.
- Coordinate the collection of encounter data and correction of rejections so that files may be resubmitted by providers, error free.
- Educate provider partners regarding how to submit encounter data and forms correctly.
- Participate in daily administrative duties and monitoring of Encounter Data and Risk Adjustment data.
- Field external provider partner questions and reporting requests received via calls or emails.
- Support department projects / tasks as they arise. This includes generating standard and ad-hoc reports, managing contact lists, and monitoring metrics.
- Assist the implementation of direct response campaigns (via emails, calls, webinars, etc.) to ensure external partner responsiveness and training.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Actively support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
