About Our Internship Program
This dynamic, 4-month paid internship is designed for graduate students interested in corporate development, strategy, and analytics within the healthcare industry. Interns will work closely with SCAN's Corporate Development team, gaining hands-on experience in portfolio management and operations, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), market research, business development, and healthcare investment analyses. This program provides mentorship, exposure to senior leadership, and real-world projects that prepare students for careers in healthcare strategy, consulting, strategic finance, and investment roles.
As a Corporate Development Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in :
- Supporting M&A and Partnership Initiatives : Assist in evaluating potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships, conducting due diligence, and analyzing financial and strategic implications.
- Conducting Market Research & Competitive Analysis : Analyze industry trends, competitive positioning, and emerging healthcare opportunities to support SCAN's growth strategy.
- Developing Financial Models & Business Cases : Create valuation models and business cases for new ventures and strategic initiatives.
- Assisting in Strategic Planning : Participate in corporate strategy discussions, contribute to long-term growth initiatives, and prepare presentations for executive leadership.
- Analyzing Healthcare Data : Leverage internal and external data sources to assess market opportunities, customer demographics, and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborating Across Departments : Work with teams across Corporate Strategy, Analytics, Healthcare Services, and Finance to support SCAN’s expansion and innovation efforts.
- Engaging in Mentorship & Learning Sessions : Attend executive speaker series, skill-building workshops, and networking events to enhance your industry knowledge and professional development.
