Scandi Haven assisted living is looking to hire or train a cook/dietary aide.
```Duties```
- Prepare and cook meals according to specified recipes and dietary restrictions
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner
- Monitor food quality and presentation
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with dietary staff to plan menus and ensure dietary requirements are met
- Assist with meal service and clean-up as needed
```Requirements```
- Previous experience in food production or culinary arts preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and equipment
- Excellent time management skills
- Familiarity with assisted living or hospital food service regulations is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain a clean work environment
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques
