Corporate Paralegal
Location: Boise, ID

Position: Non-Exempt / Hourly
Wage: Starting at $26 / hr
The Corporate Paralegal will assist the General Counsel and other members of the legal team in supporting our business by providing support with a variety of legal matters by preparing legal documents, managing corporate records and filings related to; employment, real estate, and insurance, while operating under the guidance of licensed lawyers. This is a non-remote position located at our Boise Headquarters.
What You Will Do
- Assist in managing and responding to in-house legal requests from departments across Scandinavian Designs.
- Drafting and filing corporate documents related to employment, real estate, and insurance and any other necessary legal paperwork.
- Assist counsel on active litigation and regulatory matters and maintain contact with outside counsel and other legal vendors.
- Assist with contract administration and management of contract database.
- Maintain accurate and organized corporate records.
- Coordinating with other departments, scheduling meetings, and managing legal calendars.
- Work with support staff to ensure that the legal calendar is maintained and monitored.
- Perform other duties and contribute to additional initiatives/projects, as deemed appropriate by the management team.
Who You Are
- 1 year of experience at a law firm or in-house legal department preferred.
- Excellent document drafting and editing skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and outstanding communication skills.
- Self-driven and able to manage own tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
- Prolonged sitting, standing, moderate reaching and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Occasional overtime and weekend work and travel to other locations.
- Our positions require successfully completing the pre-employment background check and signing a nondisclosure agreement.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree highly appreciated or equivalent experience.
