The Position: Scanivalve has a dedicated engineering team made up of mechanical, electrical and software engineers. We’re looking to add an additional Embedded Software Engineer to our team. The position is on-site at our Liberty Lake, WA factory where we handle all product design & development, manufacturing, test, and customer support.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement software solutions to requirements specifications and accepted coding standards.
  • Support legacy code bases with troubleshooting and bug fixes.
  • Collaborate on interdisciplinary teams with business and production personnel as well as other engineers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS or EE with Computer Engineering concentration
  • 2 years professional software development experience (internships not included)
  • Proficient in the C programming language
  • Understanding of embedded systems design and real-time scheduling
  • Practical knowledge of TCP/IP and sockets programming
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated and passionate about craftsmanship
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Experience:

  • Linux, Git, Python and Bash scripting
  • Test Automation
  • C#/.NET
  • Yocto/Bitbake
  • Agile Methodologies
