The Position: Scanivalve has a dedicated engineering team made up of mechanical, electrical and software engineers. We’re looking to add an additional Embedded Software Engineer to our team. The position is on-site at our Liberty Lake, WA factory where we handle all product design & development, manufacturing, test, and customer support.
Responsibilities:
- Implement software solutions to requirements specifications and accepted coding standards.
- Support legacy code bases with troubleshooting and bug fixes.
- Collaborate on interdisciplinary teams with business and production personnel as well as other engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or EE with Computer Engineering concentration
- 2 years professional software development experience (internships not included)
- Proficient in the C programming language
- Understanding of embedded systems design and real-time scheduling
- Practical knowledge of TCP/IP and sockets programming
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated and passionate about craftsmanship
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bonus Experience:
- Linux, Git, Python and Bash scripting
- Test Automation
- C#/.NET
- Yocto/Bitbake
- Agile Methodologies
