MOH's Medical Assistant Per Diem

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and outpatient procedures to effectively support both patients and healthcare providers. Must have MOH's assisting experience.

Duties

• Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures in the clinic setting.
• Perform routine clinical tasks including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories.
• Administer injections and medications as directed by physicians.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests when necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation complies with medical standards.
• Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the clinic.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment to ensure a safe space for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a MOH's Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and outpatient procedures is essential.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems is an advantage.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
