Job Description: This role is crucial in ensuring that our printed materials meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
Responsibilities:
- Operate UV flatbed printers to produce high-quality prints on various substrates.
- Set up and calibrate the printer according to job specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment.
- Inspect printed materials for defects and ensure consistency with color and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to achieve optimal results.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a UV Flatbed Operator or similar role in a printing environment.
- Strong understanding of UV printing technology and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret job orders and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions including safety rules, operating procedures, batch recipes, and material identification.
- Must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide as well as making the necessary conversions.
- Able to walk and stand for long periods.
- Displays good troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with forklifts is preferred but not required.
- Aptitude for mechanics.
- Basic computer skills.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- 95% of the day you will be on your feet.
