SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness and maintenance for all facilities, parking areas, offices and casino are achieved. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Educational skills gained through attainment of an associate degree or equivalent combination of education or practical work experience.
Must be able to work overnight hours.
Must have minimum of four (4) years in maintenance supervisory role.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience with direct leadership experience in training staff, assigning work, managing performance, and allocating resources.
Must have a valid Mississippi driver’s license with a clean driving record to meet driver eligibility requirements of Scarlet Pearl Casino’s insurance policy.
Must possess a working knowledge of the following systems, to include but not limited to: boilers, chillers, pumps, air handlers, plumbing distribution systems, fire protection systems, electrical distribution systems, motors, controls (both electrical and pneumatic), kitchen and restaurant equipment, mechanical and non-mechanical systems and equipment, compressors, refrigeration equipment and air conditioning equipment.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to safely and effectively operate hand and power tools.
Must be able to read, comprehend, and apply technical material, schematics, and blueprints.
Must be able to lift and move up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas; requires dexterity of hands, fingers, and feet and ability to maintain balance and physical control; exposure to weather, temperature extremes, chemicals and fumes, dust and heights.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
