Summary Description:
The Pizza Shop Attendant is responsible for all sales transactions, greeting customers and handling pizza orders. Will also assist with bussing tables, cleaning, sweeping, and mopping when business demands.
Essential Job Duties:
Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the Pizza Shop area to ensure a positive experience.
Responsible for the promotion of a safe and professional workplace through adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort Associate handbook.
Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables.
Complies with food handling, sanitation, and storage regulations.
Processes customer orders by recording, computing bill and receiving payment.
Completes orders by selecting food items from serving or storage areas; placing on tray or takeout bag; serving beverages.
Maintains customer satisfaction and confidence by protecting fast food quality; meeting service expectations; finding ways to please customers.
May be crossed trained in other food and beverage outlets.
Performs other duties as directed.
Job requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic math skills as they apply to cash handling.
One (1) year experience in the food and beverage service industry as a Cashier of Attendant preferred.
Must be flexible regarding scheduling as it is based on business demands.
Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Must present an overall professional appearance.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
