Description:
Responsible for supervising the daily revenue accounting/audit processes and evaluating operation procedures against the submitted system of internal controls.
Essential Job Duties:
Review for completeness and accuracy all work performed by Revenue Audit.
Coordinate and provide all information requested by Internal Audit, Gaming Compliance or any other agency.
Ensure compliance of all gaming regulations and gaming policy and procedures
Provide information and assistance for the preparation of any required reports, including hold % variances from Slots, Table Games, and other departments.
Review all Exception Reports for Slots, Table Games, Hotel and Food and Beverage before distribution. Follow up on all Exception Reports to ensure adequate responses
Update and review any departmental policies and procedures.
Recommends improvements for increasing departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain integrity while handling sensitive and confidential situations.
Display and practice excellent guest service and communication skills with internal and external guests.
Act as a role model for Associates under your supervision by focusing on the demonstration of positive action, behavior, attendance, work ethic and guest service.
Responsible for preparing evaluations and issuing disciplinary actions when required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field required.
Five to seven years’ experience in accounting and finance operations, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership and management experience in staff selection, establishing goals and objectives, and effectively managing resources.
Advanced computer skills working with Excel, Access, Crystal Reporting, Word, and PowerPoint.
Must possess an in depth knowledge of internal controls and accounting control procedures of gaming operations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
