The Embassy Suites by Hilton Winston-Salem is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Experience in industrial cleaning, floor care, and housekeeping management is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Execute floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in accordance with safety standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning protocols to meet health and safety regulations.
- Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, folding, and distributing linens.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with hospitality industry standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy items and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of hotel or hospitality standards is a plus.

Pay: $13.50 - $14.50 per hour
