What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Service Oiler position at Scarsella Bros., Inc.?
Scarsella Bros., Inc. is a family owned construction company with projects in Wenatchee, WA. We are looking for a heavy equipment oiler to begin as soon as possible.
Summary:
The Oiler/Fueler is responsible for lubricating, performing safety check, and monitoring fluid levels on trucks, equipment and machinery used on construction projects.
Essential Certifications:
- Class A CDL Endorsement
- Hazmat Endorsement
- Tanker Endorsement
Essential Functions:
- Service Engine, drivetrain, hydraulic and cooling system on heavy duty equipment and vehicles.
- Monitor fluid levels on all vehicles and equipment.
- Servicing all hydraulics, moving parts and air filtration systems of equipment.
- Perform visual inspection of equipment to look for malfunctions
- Service hoses and checks for wear and tear for replacement.
- Clean, lube and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Clean and Maintain Equipment, tools and general work areas.
- Inspect and evaluate incoming equipment and machines and determine malfunctions and defects.
- Fuel and Inspect Equipment
- Maintain routine equipment maintenance schedule.
- Maintain detailed records of all equipment/machine repairs, services, adjustments and work performed, (e.g. time sheets, fuel logs, and service sheets)
- May have to operate equipment to perform maintenance
- Ensure equipment is safely and securely stored
- Help identify hazardous conditions on the job site and with equipment.
- Ensure adherence to company and customers safe work practices and procedures.
Other Tasks:
- Planning work, producing parts lists.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
