Shift: Friday-Monday, 7:00am-5:30pm
Responsibilities
- Assist customer on all inventory-related issues and act as a liaison between the customer and Saddle Creek personnel by answering questions, offering solutions, and researching issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Generate cycle counts, maintain logs and statistics, verify inventory, reconcile all differences and maintain a detailed inventory in the interest of the customer and Saddle Creek.
- Process customer return orders in a timely and accurate basis according to customer request.
- Organize files, manuals, and projects to ensure the proper information and documentation is provided to the customer in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist in coordinating all special inventory projects between the customer and Saddle Creek personnel.
- Communicate with the customer verbally and in writing with a professional and positive attitude.
- Work cooperatively and productively with other warehouse associates.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- This position may involve lifting or handling material that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
- This position may require physical exertion such as walking, standing, sitting, stooping, climbing, or lifting material and equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward to handle.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Specific hearing abilities include the ability to hear horns and beeps of moving industrial equipment in a frequently noisy environment.
- Computer proficiency. Basic data entry and clerical skills
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Able to effectively use relevant material handling equipment (i.e. forklifts)
Education/Experience
- Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associate Degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, WMS, or related inventory management systems.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment or in inventory control.
- High Reach Forklift experience
