Role: Service Operations Director
Location: Any SCC office - Birmingham, Bracknell, London or Manchester (SCC operate hybrid working, which comprises of a mix of office and home working)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary Package: Competitive base salary, Company Car/Car allowance, bonus plus large company benefits, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year
Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Enterprise & Networking Senior Leadership Team and direct reports to create and deliver the strategy for the business unit.
- Accountable for the achievement of quality targets across the delivery function and reset-ting these to ensure that the practice is continually improving and growing.
- Accountable for the accuracy of forecasting and achieving the financial targets to a P&L level.
- Accountable for end-to-end delivery of customer projects from Pre-Sales to transition to service.
- Engaging with customers and peers to resolve issues effectively and retain customer and employee trust.
- Ensure that the whole team understand and live the SCC UK Values, Vision and Strategy, ensuring team culture and outputs align to these.
- Working collaboratively with the SCC sales community, specialists and product manage-ment to ensure that presales, and delivery capability align to our service offerings and cus-tomer needs, including demand planning.
- Point of escalation for internal and external stakeholders whilst understand issues and escalations and employ a logical approach to remediating and building plans to improve.
- Provide mentoring and leadership to direct reports to ensure that strategic capability plans are achieved, managing, and resolving any risks and issues to the plan.
- Ensure that delivery leads are building enough time into resourcing and capacity plans to ensure focus around employee development and time to help shape and develop propo-sitions in conjunction with product management.
- Create and maintain a strategic workforce plan.
- Work collaboratively with other business unit leaders to deliver seamless multi-tower so-lutions to SCC customers
- Ensure that the right mix of FTE, contractor and third-party capability is aligned efficiently to maximise margin opportunity and to also ensure the right skill sets are in place to max-imise funds position and increase and grow our services attach
- Identify and develop and a long-term partnership plan to support scalability within the business unit.
- Develop the delivery function to support future, new, changing and retirement of service propositions
- Develop, create and evolve the processes and efficiency within the business unit.
- Ability to convey plans and execution of strategy to stakeholders
- Proven experience in a senior project management or technical operations role, preferably within a professional services environment.
- Excellent knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
