BSA Analyst I Salary Range:
$23.36 to $24.89 per hour
Purpose:
Serves as subject matter expert for SCCU’s Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Program and Anti-Money Laundering Procedures to ensure compliance with all appropriate internal and external procedures and regulations. Helps maintain the systems that allow for FinCEN downloads and other BSA/AML software tools to achieve effective and timely updates of government lists and transaction monitoring reports.
BSA Analyst I Responsibilities:
- Adhere to CTR filing requirements through review of daily cash activity reports, assisting branch Team Members in the proper branch completion of CTRs, performing necessary follow-up and reporting issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Provide OFAC reviews of potential matches escalated from the other departments throughout the day.
- Assist with researching, analyzing, and resolving system-generated alerts. Ongoing monitoring and due diligence requirements of higher-risk members and activities, as well as investigate potential suspicious activity resulting from internal referrals from across various business lines.
- Maintain recordkeeping requirements under the BSA, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act.
- Adhere to compliance standards set forth by the Credit Union’s policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards and current best practices in all aspects of Bank Secrecy Act, Money Laundering and OFAC compliance.
- Remain detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify potential risks and make recommendations to mitigate them with the use of strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, as well as be able to work independently or as part of a team, and perform other related duties as assigned.
BSA Analyst I Minimum Requirements:
Education and Training:
Two-year degree OR certification or equivalent banking experience required.
Prior Experience:
1-3 years prior experience in a financial institution required.
Schedule:
- Full Time during department hours of operation
- Monday - Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm.
- Flex Scheduling and Work From Home Hybrid options available.
Salary : $23 - $25
