Purpose :
The Marketing Communications Associate is responsible for external communications to our Members. They will develop and implementing effective communication tactics to enhance our brand's presence and reputation. This role requires a good understanding of brand positioning, messaging, and audience engagement across various channels. She / he operates under the direction of Brand Communication Manager and focuses on all touchpoints with members and prospects. Utilizes data and analytics to identify opportunities to deepen member relationships.
Responsibilities :
Manages SCCU external communications to our Members.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, including marketing campaigns, digital platforms, and customer communications.Support Brand lead by creating compelling brand narratives, messaging frameworks, and content plans that resonate with our target audience.Initiate and execute the production of marketing materials, such as print collateral, digital assets, videos, and social media content.Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to inform brand strategy and messaging.Analyze and report on the performance of brand communication initiatives, using data to optimize strategies and campaigns.Develops and delivers direct mail, e-mail, and online communications and campaigns that target existing and prospective members to promote products and services for acquisition, cross-selling, and retention. Tracks results of direct marketing efforts and reports results to various stakeholders within the credit union.Develops and implements member communications that include, but are not limited to : regulatory notices, brochures / branch materials, and other member notifications.Manages social media platforms and / or website.Provides support for all marketing activities / projects as needed.Minimum Requirements
Prior Experience :
1-4 years prior experience in marketing required or a combination of marketing, advertising, PR and copywriting with experience in social media and / or websites preferred.Creative mindset and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling brand assets.Expertise in digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and content creation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.Good understanding of data and ability to translate them to insights.Bilingual English / Spanish preferred but not required.Education :
Associate's Degree required preferably in Marketing / Advertising or equivalent experience required.Schedule :
Full Time during department hours of operation between 7 : 00am - 6 : 00pm.Flexibility to work some after hours needed occasionally.Monday - Friday Flexible Scheduling / Work From Home Hybrid options available.
Salary : $48,594 - $51,763
