What You'll DoAs a Commercial Loan Processor, you'll take the lead in ensuring the smooth processing and funding of small business and commercial real estate loans. Your key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and preparing loan documentation to meet approval terms and compliance requirements.
- Managing the loan pipeline to ensure timely and efficient closures.
- Communicating with borrowers, vendors, brokers, and internal teams to gather information and provide updates.
- Conducting post-origination quality control and handling loan onboarding, funding, and modifications.
- Monitoring loan collateral insurance, delinquent tax notifications, and other compliance-related items.
- Supporting financial and administrative tasks, including GL balancing and vendor payments.
- Experience: At least 3 years of commercial loan processing experience, with a strong background in SBA and commercial real estate loans.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with member business lending regulations, loan products, and automated documentation systems. Credit union or financial institution experience is required.
- Skills: Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and communication skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, with bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; a four-year degree or relevant specialized training preferred.
